Do you have offstreet parking?
Yes, Mills Road Dental has plenty of offstreet parking right by our door.
How much is a regular dental checkup?
If you have dental insurance, you can get a checkup, and scale and clean without paying a cent. (Includes examination, scaling plane, bite wing/OPG and fluoride treatment). If you don’t have health insurance, we’ll Your fee at $199.00 (Value: $350). Discover more about our dental checkups here.
How long is a dental hygiene appointment?
Our dental hygiene appointment take 40 minutes.
Do you accept all health funds?
Yes, Mills Road Dental is registered with all health funds. We are also an nib First Choice provider and Westfund preferred provider.
Are you accepting new patients?

Can I use my Medicare card at the dentist?
No, typically, Medicare does not cover dental. However, some children can claim the Child dental benefits scheme (CDBS) at our clinic. See more information about the CDBS here>
Visiting the dentist makes me anxious. Can you help me feel at ease?
You’re not alone — lots of people feel nervous about visiting the dentist. When you visit, tell the dentist how you’re feeling. Dentists are very used to discussing dental anxiety and can help you with a variety of options. They may offer a light sedative, gas — or if you’re booking in a larger procedure, they can even organise IV sedation (a.k.a sleep dentistry). Read more about our sedation options here.
Can you help make kids’ dental affordable?
Yes, we can. Kids with dental cover get gap-free checkups and cleans. If you don’t have insurance, we’ll cap the fee at just $99.00. Plus, you may be eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS), which you can claim here. Although most eligible individuals for the CDBS receive a letter from the government, many parents are unaware they qualify. Typically, if you receive government support, like the Family Tax Benefit part A, you’re probably eligible. Read more.
What if I don’t make my appointment?
We require 48 hours cancellation notice for all appointments. If you cancel within 48 hours, we may ask you to pay a $70 fee.
